Is this 440 Charger just a parts car?
Recently sold on eBay for $3,800
This is a prime example of a classic, and very collectible Mopar. But it seems to be missing more parts than it has. If everything (or even most of everything) was in place this big block Charger would be worth some serious coin. The original Air Grabber hood alone would be worth $1,500-2,000.
But unfortunately the hood, along with the numbers matching engine have been AWOL for decades. It does have the factory 3 speed automatic and a 440 cid power plant, but it's an incorrect 1972 model. This Charger originally rolled off the assembly line wrapped in B5 Blue paint and black interior. That interior got stripped years ago too, along with the original engine and that rare Air Grabber hood.
Too bad. This Charger could still make a nice restoration project, but it would have been worth a whole lot more with it's factory parts in place.
