428 CJ Talladega "field find"
Recently Sold on eBay for $4200
More of a "field find" than a "barn find", this 1969 Talladega Torino had been sitting in a pasture since 1989. It had been left to rot and was on it's way to being parted out when the seller decided to put it up on eBay and a bidder took her home for $4200.
Of course the original Q code 428 Cobra Jet engine wasn't included in that price. It was scavenged long ago as was the original C6 automatic transmission. The factory 31 spline rear axle with staggered shocks is still intact though along with disc brakes and most of it's trim. But that body is just shot. Too many years letting the weeds grow up around it will do that.
