'68 Firebird
Recently Sold on eBay for $1001
This Firebird shell was recently pulled out of the weeds and sold at auction; hopefully to someone who will give it a good home and tackle the restoration process. Not much info given in the "for sale" ad about engine, transmission or options. It's not likely to be an extremely rare muscle car, but they're getting harder to find.
This Firebird has obviously spent more than it's fair share of it's life rusting away in one back yard or another. But it looks like there's enough left to make a nice restomod or even drag car. The original engine and transmission are long gone, so a full numbers matching original restoration is probably out of the question. So why not drop a warmed over big block in it and take it to the track. Leave the body work as is and it would make a nice little sleeper on the track or street!
