1965 Chevrolet Chevelle – $1500

’67 Chevelle pulled from storage

Recently auctioned for $1500 on eBay

This ’65 Chevelle was recently pulled out of a storage locker after sitting for a few decades. A lot of it has been stripped in anticipation of restoration, but then the project got put on the back burner and got tucked away with lots of other junk in this storage bin. There were a smattering of parts that were in the trunk, but you know that’s only a fraction of what this Chevy needs to get put back together again. Read more on 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle – $1500…

Forgotten 1953 Cadillac

Series 62 Cadillac rotting in the woods

This Cadillac was driven to it’s current resting spot in the woods almost 40 years ago. And there it still sits with the forest growing up around it and threatening to swallow it completely. It’s really a shame. Read more on Forgotten 1953 Cadillac…

1969 Torino Talladega 428 CJ – $4200

428 CJ Talladega “field find”

Recently Sold on eBay for $4200

More of a “field find” than a “barn find”, this 1969 Talladega Torino had been sitting in a pasture since 1989. It had been left to rot and was on it’s way to being parted out when the seller decided to put it up on eBay and a bidder took her home for $4200.

1969 Corvette 427 – $5,200

4 speed 427 Corvette Coupe

Recently Sold for $5200 on eBay

How long do you think this ’69 Corvette has been gathering dust in some backwoods garage? Try 30+ years! But it’s a “dry storage” according to the seller. This Vette was hit hard in the distant past which bent the frame and trashed the front clip. The front clip is workable. The frame maybe not so much.

1967 Mustang Coupe – $600

Mustang used as storage shed

1967 Camaro RS Convertible – $4,100

Camaro Project Car

Recently Sold for $4,100 on eBay

When is a barn find not a barn find? When the owner doesn’t even bother putting it in a barn! This is more of a “field find” since it’s been left out in the weather for a decade or more in some farmer’s field. Read more on 1967 Camaro RS Convertible – $4,100…

1965 Mustang GT didn’t hit reserve

’65 Mustang GT Coupe sits in yard

Didn’t meet reserve price

This GT coupe was recently on eBay and got up to $3400, but didn’t meet the reserve. It’s a factory GT which has some value, but it’s a coupe and not a K code 289. The 1965 Mustang convertible and fastback GT’s are where the money is. Read more on 1965 Mustang GT didn’t hit reserve…

1967 Camaro RS – $2,700

Camaro Project Car

Recently Sold for $2,700 on eBay

This looks to be one of those failed restoration projects. You know, the kind where the guy has been working on it for an hour a month for the last 6 years and still doesn’t seem to be making any progress? It also looks to have some questionable 80’s upgrades like the wide meats in the back and the aftermarket louvers on the rear window. Read more on 1967 Camaro RS – $2,700…

1963 Corvette Convertible – $14,000

’63 Corvette Stingray, 327 cid 4 speed

Recently Sold for $14,000 on eBay

You could sort of call this Corvette a “barn find” but certainly not a “survivor”. This 1963 Stingray has been sitting in storage as you see it in these photos since 1978. No history on why it was gutted so long ago and then stored, but maybe even then the owners foresaw what these Corvettes would fetch at auction. Read more on 1963 Corvette Convertible – $14,000…

1967 Mustang Coupes – Two for $1775

Twin ’67 Ford Mustang Coupes

Recently Sold for $1775

Here’s a pair of Mustang coupes that recently sold. They’ve obviously been sitting for years gathering rust and waiting for their owner to get started on their restoration. Neither is a particularly rare muscle car. They’re small block cars; one is a C code 289-2v and the other a slightly more desirable A code 289-4v. The A code is fairly nicely optioned with a C4 automatic, air conditioning, power disc brakes and power steering. It even had a black vinyl top, which would explain some of the surface rust.
