1965 Chevrolet Chevelle – $1500

’67 Chevelle pulled from storage

Recently auctioned for $1500 on eBay

This ’65 Chevelle was recently pulled out of a storage locker after sitting for a few decades. A lot of it has been stripped in anticipation of restoration, but then the project got put on the back burner and got tucked away with lots of other junk in this storage bin. There were a smattering of parts that were in the trunk, but you know that’s only a fraction of what this Chevy needs to get put back together again. Read more on 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle – $1500…

1969 Corvette 427 – $5,200

4 speed 427 Corvette Coupe

Recently Sold for $5200 on eBay

How long do you think this ’69 Corvette has been gathering dust in some backwoods garage? Try 30+ years! But it’s a “dry storage” according to the seller. This Vette was hit hard in the distant past which bent the frame and trashed the front clip. The front clip is workable. The frame maybe not so much.

1967 Camaro RS Convertible – $4,100

Camaro Project Car

Recently Sold for $4,100 on eBay

When is a barn find not a barn find? When the owner doesn’t even bother putting it in a barn! This is more of a “field find” since it’s been left out in the weather for a decade or more in some farmer’s field. Read more on 1967 Camaro RS Convertible – $4,100…

1967 Camaro RS – $2,700

Camaro Project Car

Recently Sold for $2,700 on eBay

This looks to be one of those failed restoration projects. You know, the kind where the guy has been working on it for an hour a month for the last 6 years and still doesn’t seem to be making any progress? It also looks to have some questionable 80’s upgrades like the wide meats in the back and the aftermarket louvers on the rear window. Read more on 1967 Camaro RS – $2,700…

1963 Corvette Convertible – $14,000

’63 Corvette Stingray, 327 cid 4 speed

Recently Sold for $14,000 on eBay

You could sort of call this Corvette a “barn find” but certainly not a “survivor”. This 1963 Stingray has been sitting in storage as you see it in these photos since 1978. No history on why it was gutted so long ago and then stored, but maybe even then the owners foresaw what these Corvettes would fetch at auction. Read more on 1963 Corvette Convertible – $14,000…

1969 Camaro RS X-11 – $2,650

1969 Camaro RS X-11 Rust Bucket

Recently Sold for $2,650 on eBay

This was a recent 1969 RS X-11 project Camaro for sale. The owner started his restoration several years ago, but as often happens other life commitments got in the way and now the wife says it’s got to go. Of course he tore it down completely and half the peices are probably scattered everywhere. Why can’t people just leave the car intact until they’re ready to restore it?

1954 Corvette Convertible – $37,800

’54 Corvette – Premium price paid for this Barn Find

Recently Sold for $37,800 on eBay

1954 Chevy Corvette – 1 of 4 ever made in black.

This is one of those cars you just dream of uncovering in some back woods barn. This particular Corvette was pulled out of it’s storage building in Florida earlier this year. The seller claimed it was 1 of only 4 ever made in black. There were only 3,640 Corvettes total made in 1954, which was the 2nd year of production for GM’s two seater sports car.

1969 Camaro Convertible has seen better times

Recently Sold for $4049 on eBay

This 1969 pre x-code convertible Camaro sold recently for a pretty decent price considering everything that it was missing. There’s no front clip and what is in front of the firewall is some home engineered junk that needs to be removed. Also missing are the original V8 engine and transmission. Color is Glacier Blue (code 53) with a black convertible top and standard Blue interior (code 715)

1964 Corvette Convertible – $6,300

’64 Corvette – Can it be salvaged?

Recently Sold for $6300 on eBay

Here’s another classic Corvette that’s finally been given a chance at a new life. This 1964 Corvette has been sitting for years and years. It’s been wrecked in the front, but the body from the cowl back is still in good shape. Front clip obviously has been long gone. The frame unfortunately was damaged, but could be repaired in all likelihood. VIN numbers match between body and frame, although the original drive train is no longer there. Daytona Blue was the original color with blue interior.

1971 Corvette T-top – $2,000

1971 Chevrolet Corvette Shell

Recently Sold for $2200 on eBay

This Corvette had been sitting in a Los Angeles driveway with weeds growing around it for years. You know that any gearhead that passed by just shook his head at the waste of such a great car sitting for so long. Clearly one of those, “I’m going to restore it someday” stories. This one was a salvage title Corvette, so there’s no knowing what damage could be hiding from past accidents. Read more on 1971 Corvette T-top – $2,000…
