1954 Chevy Corvette – 1 of 4 ever made in black.

This is one of those cars you just dream of uncovering in some back woods barn. This particular Corvette was pulled out of it’s storage building in Florida earlier this year. The seller claimed it was 1 of only 4 ever made in black. There were only 3,640 Corvettes total made in 1954, which was the 2nd year of production for GM’s two seater sports car.

Here’s a 1967 GTO hardtop that recently was for sale at auction. It has a good running WS code 400 engine and Turbo 400 automatic transmission. It’s a four barrel, but the carb on it now is an aftermarket Carter AFB.  Rear end is a GM 10 bolt non-posi traction with 2.93 highway gears. Rust is in the typical spots on these GTO’s for sale; the rear deck, rear quarters and trunk. Most of the interior is gone except the bucket seats and Hurst dual gate shifter.
